ODESSA In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & Dear Friend. Ruben Garcia Aguilar, 51, of Odessa, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Artesia, New Mexico, to Angel J. Aguilar and Dora Garcia. He was a devoted Christian with many skills in many trades, but his passion was Truck Driving. He is preceded in death by Father, Angel J. Aguilar; and Grandparents. Mr. Aguilar is survived by Wife, Jane E. Paredes Aguilar of Odessa; Mother, Dora Garcia Aguilar of Odessa; Sons, Ruben Angel Aguilar (Corina) of Odessa, David Alfonso Aguilar of Odessa, Joey Diaz of Greelee, CO; Daughters, Sabrina Ann Fernandez of Odessa, Severa Leann Aguilar of Odessa, Elsa H. Flores (Israel) of Odessa; Brother, Luis G. Aguilar of Arlington, Texas; Sisters, Maria Flores (Rene), Maribel Canava (Mac), all of Odessa, Griselda Macias (Isidro) of Midland, Texas; 13 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm Today, Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday, August 23, 2013, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Reverend Michael Rodriguez officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery, Peaceful Garden Section. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
