Michael Gray Ferrini Obituary
ODESSA A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away was a man named Michael Gray Ferrini. Born July 20, 1947, and beamed up to heaven April 23, 2014, Mike was ahead of his time. An advocate of technology and a science fiction enthusiast, he had a deep passion for computers, space, robotics, but most of all his family. Mike was intelligent with an inventive, creative mind. He had a huge heart and was a very honest person. His sense of humor was advanced and unique. Mike was an entrepreneur at heart with many innovative ideas and companies still in existence today. He was a mechanic for many years, specializing in BMWs. Mike was a proud American, and while serving in the U.S. Army, he met his wife of 44 years, Susan Haines. Mike was born in Rochester, New York, to Madeline and Louis Ferrini. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Christopher.
He is survived by his wife Susan Ferrini, sons Jamie Ferrini of The Woodlands, Kevin Ferrini and wife Nicole of El Paso, daughters Michelle Ferrini and husband Mauricio Orona, Laurie Ferrini, Meghan Gautreaux of Odessa, grandchildren Chrysten and Kelsey Pando, Katherine Fierro, Ryan, Brooke, and Vinnie Ferrini, soon to come great granddaughter, Madelynne Jane, and many extended family members. Mike was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, loved riding his motorcycle, and was a devoted father and husband. You are sorely missed. To family and friends, live long and prosper.
Memorial services will be Saturday, April 26th, at 10:00am at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Instead of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project at the following link:
