She was born March 15, 1929, in Saragosa, Texas, to Demecio and Anita Velasco Vejil.
She was a Catholic and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband: Joe Quintana Pena, Parents: Demecio and Anita Velasco Vejil, Brothers: Manuel, Demecio Jr., Fred, Henry, Alberto, and Ernest Vejil, Sisters: Martina Lozario, Enedina Vejil, Ruby Contresas, Elena Vejil.
She is survived by her Son: Fidel V. Pena, wife Lucy their sons Ben and wife Amy, Rick and wife Laura and Erik and wife Mercie, Son: Joey, Daughter Monica, husband Jaime, Trisha, and Joiann, husband Carlos, all of Odessa, Sisters: Rosa Roman of Kermit, Rosa Lee Dominguez of Balmorhea, 14 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Many Friends.
We the Pena Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral, food, offering and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless You All Abundantly.
Pallbearers will be: George Dominguez, Jimmy Dominguez, Archie Roman, David Vejil, Bobby Lozano, and Hector Ybarra.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 1pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors, 4635 Oakwood Drive.
Mass will be celebrated at 1pm Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
