Esperanza  Vega Obituary
ODESSA Esperanza Vega of Odessa, Texas has gone to be with the Lord. She is reunited with her Husband, Jose (Joe) Vega; parents, Jose and Geronima Valenzuela Trevino; three brothers, Jose Trevino (wife Frances Trevino), Alejandro Trevino, and Baldemar Trevino; two sisters, Angie Trevino Rodriguez and Eva Trevino Saenz.

Esperanza (Hope) Tevino Vega born September 26,1947, passed away Jan.20, 2011, at age 63, after bravely battling several years of health problems. Esperanza passed away peacefully at the Hospice House. Esperanza was born in Taft, Texas, moved to Odessa at an early age, graduating from Odessa High School in 1969. Earning a degree at Odessa College, a Bachelor at U.T.P.B, then furthering her education at University of Texas at Austin. She was a local bilingual teacher for 15 years.

Esperanza`s memory is lived on by her surviving family members daughter; Deborah Ann Munoz and her children Alexander Paul, Christine Ricon, Anthony Micheal Munoz; daughter, Mychelle Trevino Vega and her children Esperanza Corina and Victoria Danielle Vega and grandson, Andres; son, Ricardo David Vega and children Guy Rene and Casandra Marie Vega, along with countless other family and friends who were blessed to know her.

We the Vega Family thank every one for their Prayers and kind words during this time of Loss. A special gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Home Hospice for their loving care given and kindness they showed our beloved mother and grandmother. Friends and family are invited to attend Esperanza`s (Memorial) at 2 p.m. Saturday January 29 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will be held privately. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
