Larry Arnold Obituary
ODESSA Larry Arnold, 63, of Odessa, passed away March 15, 2012 at home. He was born November 14, 1948 to Alex Wilson Arnold and Norma Sue Cone in Fort Sumner, New Mexico.

Larry had passion for his work in the oil fields of West Texas, where he worked for many years. However, his greatest passion was spending time with his family and his closest friends.

He enjoyed his annual fishing trip to Traverse City, Michigan where he often caught king salmon and trout. He also enjoyed watching Texas Tech football with his two sons and listening to the music of Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and The Eagles.

Larry was known for his friendliness, laid back demeanor and wonderful sense of humor. His most enduring qualities, however, were compassion and kindness. He was a friend to anyone in need and always put the people in his life first.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Norma Arnold and his brothers, Ronald Gene Arnold and William Lynn Arnold.

Larry is survived by his sons, Alex Norman Arnold of San Antonio, Trey Christopher Arnold of Houston, sister, Rhonda Arnold of Dallas, brother, Roger Arnold of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many adoring friends.

He has always been known for his tendency to bring the best out in others. Larry loved children and children loved Larry. He is a gentle soul that lived an accomplished and fulfilling life.
