Frank Placencio Jr., 66, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his residence.
He was born February 24, 1947, in Eden, Texas, to Frank Placencio Sr. and Esperanza Martinez. He was a Catholic and an Oilfield Truck Driver.
He is preceded in death by parents, Frank Sr. and Esperanza Placencio; 2 brothers, David Gonzales and Vito Hernandez.
Mr. Placencio is survived by his wife, Sylvia Placencio of Bakersfield, CA; 4 sons, Frank Placencio Jr., Frederick Placencio, Brandan Placencio, Felix Placencio and wife Crystal, all of Bakersfield, CA; 2 daughters, Dora Lee Salcido and husband Reggie and Dedee Placencio, all of Bakersfield, CA; father, Frank Gonzales of Lamesa, Texas; brothers, Jerry, Manuel Mario and David Gonzales, all of Bakersfield, CA, Zinadio, Jose "Chato" and Jose Luis Hernandez, all of Bakersfield, CA, Frank, Gilbert and Andrew Placencio, all of Colorado; sisters, Esperanza, Betty, Yolanda, Mary and Jannie Placencio, all of Bakersfield, CA, Angie, Della, Delilia, Mary and Amelia Placencio, all of Colorado; 12 grandchildren, Reggie, Carlos and Stacy Salcido and Tyler, Noah, Luke, Frederick, Emma, Sonia, Dillon, Madeline and Priscilla Placencio; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is set for 9am to 9pm today, Wednesday, May 29, 2013, with a Wake Service at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Service at a later date under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bakersfield, California. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
