ODESSA Alba Regalado, 67, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Hospice House. She was born in La Paz, Mexico, on January 17, 1946, to Tomas and Lorenza Garcia. Alba was a cherished homemaker. |
Alba was a fighter. She was very protective over her family, especially her sisters, kids and grandkids. She was a loving and caring Mom who heroically defied Mexican tradition to keep her eldest son, Johnny, upon entering her second marriage. Alba was a courageous, outgoing, talented, and stubborn woman when it came to family. She valued culture and taught her kids to be independent. Playing bingo at the VFW was her favorite pastime and above all, Alba had a familiar relationship with her Lord, making her a pillar of strength to not only her children but her sisters as well.
