Mark was born to Woodrow Marshall Rainwater and Martha Doris Adams in Stamford, Texas on October 16, 1949.
He met the love of his life and married Linda Ricker on March 20, 1993. He worked as a Registered OR Nurse for 20+ years at Medical Center Hospital before retiring. Mark was in the Army, serving in the Vietnam War.
Mark was a mechanic and loved to work on his "54" Ford Pickup. He was lovingly devoted to Linda and took good care of her. In earlier days, they both loved to travel, going to places like the Grand Canyon, McKittrick Canyon, and Fort Davis. Mark also loved to garden and plant trees and such. He was very skilled with his hands and could make almost anything.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 20 years: Linda Arlene Rainwater, daughters: Miriam Emerick and husband Randy, Michelle Windham and husband Danny all of Odessa, brother: Bill Rainwater and wife Nancy of Conroe Texas, sister: Mary Tom Claborn and husband Ozell of Monahans, Texas; grandchildren: Amanda Vree and husband Aaron and Mitchell Windham, all of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed by all.
At Mark's request, he will be cremated with "No Fuss" and no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House or the House of Hope.
Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd, Odessa Texas.
