Carmine Paul Verno

Carmine Paul Verno, 69, of Bentleyville, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in his home.
He was born July 20, 1945, in Washington, a son of the late Carmine Verno and Clara Verno Reihner.
Mr. Verno was a member of Central Assembly of God Church, Houston. He was president of the Men's Ministry and was also on the leadership team of Washington County Men's prayer breakfast.
He was a 1963 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. He attended California University of Pennsylvania, with further studies in marketing at Michigan State University and the University of Notre Dame. In 1976, he received a certified marketing directors designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mr. Verno was a board member of Advantage Inc. (Association for Mentally Challenged Citizens), and was a former member of Washington Jaycees. He was a former state director of the Miss Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia USA pageants.
Mr. Verno was owner of Carvern Productions Inc., an advertising, public relations and theatrical production firm in Washington. He was a woodworking craftsman, fisherman and scuba diver.
Mr. Verno was married to the late Caryn L. Ankrom Verno.
Surviving are a daughter, Valerie and husband Dave; a sister, Janet (Pete) Castriota; a stepbrother, David Reihner; two grandsons, Neil and Blake; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents and wife, is his stepfather, Jacob Reihner.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson and East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
