George Benjamin McGinnis

George Benjamin McGinnis, 63, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, July 20, 2014.
He was born September 9, 1950, in Canonsburg, a son of the late George Charles McGinnis and Ada McCarthy Smith.
He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 567, McDonald. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and singing karaoke. He was a car mechanic.
He worked as a driver for Silhol Builders Supply, retiring in 2012.
Surviving are mother Ada Smith of Canonsburg; a daughter, Christine Parkinson (Comp. Timothy Reeder Sr.) of Muse; grandchild Tyler Reeder of Muse; brother Gary (Theresa) Manges of Burgettstown; an adopted brother, Anthony (Susan) DelGatti of Bellaire, Ohio; niece Cathy (Mike) Gunder of Ohio; and several other nieces and nephews.
Deceased is his father, George Charles McGinnis, in 1970.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, (Route 50), Cecil.
Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Guests are asked to meet at the public information center at the cemetery.
