Norma V. Standiford, 87, of Washington, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home, Washington.She was born June 3, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth Ruthermond Standiford.Miss Standiford worked for Brockway Glass.She was a member of United Methodist Church of Houston.Miss Standiford was an avid Steelers fan.Surviving are two sons, Dave W. (Mary) Standiford and Mark D. Standiford, both of Washington; a daughter, Debra A. Patrick of Washington; seven grandchildren, Floyd "Woody" Thompson, Brenda (Ken) McVay, and Emmily, Matthew, Andrew, Hillary and Courtney Standiford; four great-grandchildren, Floyd Thompson Jr., and Devan, Bethany and Cody McVay; and two great-great-grandchildren, Christopher Ramos and Addisyn Baker.Deceased are a daughter, Elizabeth Thompson; a great-grandson, Jordan McVay; two brothers, Donald and Ralph Standiford; and three sisters, Laura Comfort, Lois Wood and Midge Standiford.Friends will be invited to a memorial gathering from 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of services, Tuesday, June 16, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington.
