Linda I. Kencec, 65, of McDonald, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in Canonsburg Hospital.

She was born September 23, 1948, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Howard Moss Jr. and Anne Adkins Neal, formerly of Strabane.
Mrs. Kencec was a 1965 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Aspinwall.
Mrs. Kencec enjoyed baking.
She married Nick "Skip" Kencec, who is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Sonya Suty-Wilkes of New Stanton; a son, James Suty Jr. (Sarah) of Finleyville; a grandson, Tyler Wilkes; four brothers, Howard Moss III (Mary) of Strabane, Jay Moss (Debra) of Houston, Jeffrey Moss of Meadow Lands and Stephen Moss of Houston; two sisters, Lillian Parkinson (Earl) of Washington and Mary Lou Reichel (Albert) of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
A sister, Phyllis Zaccone, is deceased.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, with Pastor Earl Parkinson officiating.
