Leonard Daniel "Dan" Naser, 93, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's in SECU Hospice Center, Bolivia, N.C.

He was born December 22, 1920, in Washington County to Leonard Preston Naser and Wilma Walker Naser.
Mr. Naser moved to Beaver County in 1963 when US Airways relocated its maintenance operations from Washington, D.C., to the Pittsburgh area. He started his career with All American Airline in 1947 and retired as lead mechanic for US Airways in 1984.
He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Aliquippa, where over the years he served as a deacon and a member of the choir. He was also a member of the Masons and Shriners.
Mr. Naser's first wife, Jean Yauger Naser, passed away in June 2001.
In April 2003, he married Greta Bagshaw, who passed away in April 2011. He then relocated to Southport, N.C., to be closer to his daughters.
Surviving are daughters Debra and husband Don Poczik and Bekki Ripper of Southport; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Marie Naser of Washington; stepsons Carl Bagshaw of Aliquippa and Eric Bagshaw of Monaca; and numerous nieces and nephews.
