Anna Marie Sarakowski, 85, of Lawrence, died Saturday, August 16, 2014, in Canonsburg Hospital.

She was born May 31, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine Itzel McManus.
Mrs. Sarakowski was a member of St. Louise de Marilac Church, Upper St. Clair.
She enjoyed and taught ceramics and was an animal lover. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Sarakowski worked as a secretary for Allis Chalmers and for Black Box in collections.
Surviving are a son, Mark S. Sarakowski of Lawrence; a daughter, Lisa Bioni and husband Timothy of Claysville; a son-in-law, Eric Burgh of Lawrence; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Ross) Sarakowski, Stephen Sarakowski, Samantha (Scott) Sarakowski, Gino Bioni, Cella Bioni, Lena Bioni, Matthew Burgh, Adam Burgh and Rosanna Marie (Eric) Crawford; a great-grandchild, Bradley Oscarson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Stephen Sarakowski, and a daughter, Beth Ann Burgh.
Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 18, in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director.
Departing prayers will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., Canonsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louise De Marillac Church, Upper St. Clair. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
