Herbert Lockett Obituary
Known to most as "Little Herbie," he was born November 29, 1990, a son of Herbert and Carol Jean Lockett.
Mr. Lockett received his formal education from John F. Kennedy Catholic and Trinity High schools.
He was employed by GMS Mine Repair & Maintenance, Inc.
Mr. Lockett was an avid reader, soccer player and a powerful swimmer, who enjoyed being with his big brother, Jamaal, and teaching his younger cousins how to swim.
He was engaged to Alyssa Chandler for the past two years. This beautiful family was made complete May 5, 2014, by the birth of their adorable son, Jaiden.
In addition to his loving parents, brother Jamaal, fiancée and son Jaiden, he leaves to mourn his passing a stepdaughter, Celiena, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him unconditionally.
Services will be delivered at 11 a.m. Friday May 1, in St. Paul AME Church, 16 Ridge Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Arthur E. Doctor Jr. officiating. The repast will be held immediately following the service at the church.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul AME Church.
Professional services of comfort are entrusted to Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., 336 Wilson Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com.

This breaks my entire heart..Will always be a part of my heart and sadly missed. But his whole being continues through his adorable son and my niece Alyssa Chandler Lockett. He always had my back and my children adored him..my tears are simply not enough. And I can't say goodbye because he lives on through us all... Not fair...
