"BUD" BURRELL, 69
Summerfield - William "Bud" Burrell Brown, 69, of Summerfield, FL passed away peacefully on September 28, 2013 in McKinney TX.
He was born in Macon, GA on May 1, 1944 to the late Paul and Evelyn Brown of Macon, GA. He married the late Diane Yvonne Mudry in 1968 and lived in Summerfield, FL since 1982.
William served six years in the United States Navy where he earned the National Defense Service medal.
William is survived by his son John K. Brown, daughter-in-law Catherine Brown, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters Patricia Fountain and Louise Ogden, and five nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Monday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Bushnell Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513, (352) 793-7740.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society in William's memory by calling 800-227-2345 or visiting www.cancer.org.
