Lippert, Eugene Charles  
LIPPERT, EUGENE CHARLES, 84 Ocala - Eugene Charles Lippert, 84, passed away on December 19, 2014. He was born August 4, 1930 and was a retired Attorney at Law. Gene was also a commissioned US Navy Officer. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet Olwell Lippert. Arrangements by All Faith Cremations Society.

LOEFFEL, MARTHA  
LOEFFEL, MARTHA, 92 Wexford, PA - Martha Elizabeth Edmondson Loeffel, 92, died on December 9, 2014 in Wexford, PA. Martha was born on December 17, 1921, the daughter of John and Mamie Edmondson of Gainesville, GA, where she was raised. Martha graduated from Shorter College in Rome, GA, then worked for IBM during World War II before marrying Francis M. Hendley in 1945. They had five children, who all survive Martha: Joyce Gad of Raleigh, NC, Patricia (Patty) Kitching of Bradenton, FL, George Hendley and wife Sharon of Richardson, TX, Ginger Lanier of Ocala, and Dan Hendley and wife Beth of Wexford, PA. Martha is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Martha's second husband was John Denson, who died of cancer in 1979. Her third husband was Jack Loeffel, who died in 1999 at age 87. Martha lived in Ocala since 1951. Her favorite hobby for all those years was contesting. She won many contests and appeared on the TV show, To Tell the Truth, after winning the National Chicken Cooking Championship. Other prizes included six cars, trips to many parts of the world, as well as hundreds of smaller prizes. Martha loved to travel and visited all 50 states and all the continents except Antarctica. She also enjoyed playing bridge, even playing duplicate bridge in her later years. Over 50 years ago, she was a founding member of a weekly bridge club, a monthly supper club, and a monthly book club, all of which continue to meet. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and the Junior Women's Club. Martha was a welcome member of these and other groups due to her intelligence, wit, and sparkling personality. Her family and many friends will miss her cheerful presence and entertaining stories.

LONG, BERT, 85 Ocala - Bert Long, 85, passed away December 14, 2014. Funeral Services for Mr. Long will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at New House of Praise Church, 913 NW 11th Avenue, Ocala, with interment immediately following at Tucker Hill Cemetery. The repast will follow at Golden Corral, 2111 Southwest College Road, Ocala, FL 34474. Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society is handling the arrangements.

MACK, EDITH A., 98 Ocala - Edith A. Mack, 98, passed away on December 10, 2014. She was born in London, England on February 15, 1916. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School and worked as a beautician. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon and actively involved in ladies mission work. Mrs. Mack is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Mack. She is survived by her son, John Mack of Ocala, daughter, Patricia Edison of Dunnellon, sister, Kathleen Leno of TN, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 3:00PM with Rev. Eddie Fulford officiating. MATZ, JOHN DONALD, 63 Summerfield - John Donald Matz, 63, of Summerfield passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. John was a native of Carmi, Illinois and moved to this area in 1987. He spent most of his adult life in the auto industry serving in various capacities. When he wasn't hard at work, he enjoyed the outdoors - at the beach with his family, golfing with his sons, and tending to his many plants. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Rita of Summerfield, son Klent and wife Lexi of Gainesville, son Heath and wife Kelly of Jacksonville, parents Don and Pat of Summerfield, brother Roger and wife Shirley of Summerfield. Born in Brooksville, FL, April 5, 1973, to Jesse Franklin Merritt Sr. and Jeannette Word Merritt. He worked in building construction laying concrete. He is survived by his sons, Justin Merritt, Hunter Merritt; daughter, Katlyn Welch; brothers, Curtis Wright, Benjamin Merritt; sisters, T.J. MILLER, CHARLES B. 'CHARLIE', 89 Ocala - Charles B. 'Charlie' Miller, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2014 in Ocala at age 89 years. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 17, 1925; son to the late Charles Miller and Ellen (Norlander) Nussenfeld. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on several submarines and received numerous decorations. He had a long successful career in sales across many industries, mainly automotive. He was an avid golfer and loved fishing. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife Joanna of Ocala; children Chuck Miller and his wife Jadz of CA, Jim Miller and his wife Susan of NJ, Tom Miller and his wife Elaine of NJ and FL and Janet Volkommer and her husband Rick of LI, NY; step-daughter Patsy Fox and her husband George of CT; sister Lucille Kear of CT; niece Holly and nephew Ken; grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Melissa, Brandon, Chase, Tas, Ella and Ben. MORTON, BOBBIE LEE, 71 Ocala - Bobbie Lee Morton, age 71, died on December 18, 2014 in Ocala Florida. He was born in Roanoke, Alabama on January 3, 1943. He was a maintenance manager with waste water treatment in Pompano Beach Florida. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Kay Winkles Morton of Fort McCoy, Florida, his son Bobbie Lee (Amanda) Morton, his daughters Ann Marie Loftis and Katherine Yvonne Walters, stepson James (Carrie) Forester, stepdaughters Alison (Will) Northcutt, and Carrie Forester, 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many other friends and family that loved him dearly. Services will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home, 606 S.W. 2nd Avenue, Ocala, 622-4141.

Moxley, Jean Delores  
MOXLEY, JEAN DELORES, 63 Citra - Jean Delores Moxley, 63, passed away December 21, 2014. She was born October 25, 1951 in Baltimore, MD, to John Miller and Delores Krause Miller. Jean was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where she met and married her loving husband Jonathan (Jerry) in 1970 and later had her first of three children Job (Nina) Moxley. In 1974, they moved to Florida and settled in the Gainesville area and within the next two years they welcomed their second child Michelle Moxley. Moving to Marion County they then welcomed their third child Jaimie (Robert) Bishop. Jean worked for Marion Citrus Mental Health for a number of years before returning back to college to follow her dreams of becoming a Registered Nurse, where she found her calling in home health. Jean was a devoted daughter, sibling, wife, mother, grandmom, great grandmom, friend and nurse. She is survived by her loving husband, three children, mother Delores, brothers Dennis, Wayne and Richard, sisters Nancy and Donna as well as six grandchildren Tamra (Kyle), Austin, Jodie, Patience, Fayth and Kyleigh Jean and two great-grandchildren, Keeylynn and Kynsley and loving furbaby Bo Moxley as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father John Miller; sister Patti; nephew Josh and son in law Mikey. She will be greatly missed by every person that was graced by her presence. A Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Countryside Funeral Home. MURIN, MILTON "MICKEY"  
MURIN, MILTON 'MICKEY', 64 Ocala - Milton 'Mickey' Murin, 64, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Mickey was a native of Summit, New Jersey and moved to this area from Frenchtown New Jersey 10 years ago. He was retired from Captive Plastics in New Jersey, upon his retirement he worked for Marion County Senior Services as a bus driver. He will be missed by many of his passengers as well as his friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 15 years Patricia Murin of Ocala; stepdaughters Laura Knoff of Reddick, Lois Riley of Flemington, NJ; brothers Geno Murin of Manville, NJ, Arnold Murin of Ringoes, NJ; sisters Lorraine Jean of Washington, NJ, Eunice Moser Ringoes, NJ; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
