Ocklawaha - Audrey Marlene Huey, 78, passed away after a long illness at Tuscany House in The Villages, Florida on February 11, 2013.
Audrey Huey is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Donald G. Dery. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 15, 1976. Audrey is lovingly remembered by her daughter Jannie Des Rosiers-Berman and husband Larry; son Jack Gustafson and wife Betsy; son Jeffrey Gustafson; stepson Stan Dery and wife Donna; stepdaughter Renee Kravig and husband Kevin, along with 12 grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Jean Irvine and husband Jim Saarinen, and Brooke Munfa and husband Robert, also by her cousin Maxine Grover and husband Harold. She leaves behind nieces and nephews and other family members.
Audrey was predeceased by her infant son Bradley Gustafson, her father Clifton Pritchett, her mother Edna Bradley Prichett, and her son-in-law Paul Des Rosiers. Audrey was born in Norfolk, VA, but spent most of her life in Seattle, WA. She was a real estate broker for 30 years. Many of her clients became lifelong friends.
Audrey and Donald loved traveling and spending time with friends. Audrey was an excellent cook, quite creative, was an avid reader, and loved nothing more than a brisk paced walk. She will be remembered for her generous heart and beautiful smile.
