Charles M. Pendarvis Jr.

Ocklawaha - Charles M. Pendarvis, Jr., 74, of Ocklawaha passed away September 18, 2013 at his home.
Born in Palmetto, FL he moved to Marion County in 1973. He graduated from Hardee County High School, started in the paving business and retired as entrepreneur of Pendarvis Asphalt Paving. Being the father that he was, he led by example with his children and instilled within them a strong work ethic to provide for their families and to do the same for their children. He was also a complete outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Pendarvis is survived by his children, Charles M. Pendarvis III, Walter Keith Pendarvis, Robert Ryan Pendarvis, Cynthia Lynn Calder and Kelly Pendarvis Craig; sister, Sharon Willis; grandchildren, Robert Ryan Pendarvis II, Jordyn Lindsey Pendarvis, Blake Wilson Calder, Chase Daniel Calder, Kade James Calder, Michael Christopher Santos, Kourtney Susan Craig and Micayla Lynne Craig. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher L. Pendarvis and sister, Dorothy Georgiadis.
