Jaca Louise Carey King

Ocala - Jaca Louise Carey King, 42, born October 19, 1970, passed away September 15, 2013 surrounded by family and under Hospice care after a brief battle with cancer. The world lost a gentle caring soul. She will forever be missed!
Jaca's life was dedicated to her daughter, Katelin Shay King and giving her the best possible childhood. Jaca was always strong and caring and loved to make people smile. Other than her daughter, her passions in life were photography and tending her flower gardens. She graduated from Lake Weir High School in 1988 and attended CFCC. She worked for years with her mother at Blue Heron Gallery. She also volunteered with the public schools when she could.
She is survived by her daughter, Katelin Shay King, her mother, Teri Carey of Ocala, her father and step-mother, Cliff and Carol Carey of Erie, PA, two brothers, Russell Larson of Indiana, PA and Curt Carey (Shannon) of Ocala, her cat, Bubby, as well as many other relatives that love her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20th at 5:30 PM at St. George Anglican Church, 5646 S.E. 28th Street, Ocala, 34480. A reception will be held following the service at the church.
Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
