Ocala - Michael H. Digilio, 77 of Ocala entered into Heaven on March 7th, 2013.
Born April 5, 1935 to Eleanor Swenson and Michael Digilio in Astoria, New York. As a young child he learned what hard work was when he went to work at age 15 to help support his family along with his mother. He spent most of his life in Astoria where he met his wife Josephine and together they raised seven wonderful children.
In 1999 they moved to Ocala and fit in very well. He enjoyed printing signs for events happening in Oak Run, chewing his cigar and especially helping those who needed assistance with their computers free of charge. Most importantly, he really enjoyed spending time with his family. He always looked forward to Christmas Eve gatherings but most important those Sunday mornings when he could get off from work and cook breakfast for the kids.
He is survived by his loving wife Josephine; son Michael; daughters, Michelle, Georgia "Joy", Donna, Laurie, Tina, and Gail; son-in-laws, John, Joe, Guy, Mark, Tony; ten wonderful grandchildren Joelle, Michael, Monica, Alex, Anthony, Josephine, Charlie, Joey, MarkAnthony, Vincent who he loved very much; sisters Emily, Victoria, Joanne and brother John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 in the TimberRidge Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala.
