Ocala - Shil Patel, 40, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 30, 2012 in Holder, Florida.
Shil had lived in Ocala for ten years, moving here from Staten Island, New York. He was a local business owner of Holder Citgo.
Shil was everything that was good, a dedicated and family oriented person. He was known to be honest and genuine; always spoke his mind. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and was very happy go lucky. He could make everyone around him laugh. He was truly generous and kindhearted, helpful to many, even those he did not know. He was an angel to a few hundred here on Earth and now is an angel for millions. He was a perfect brother, son, husband, father and a great friend.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of three years, Meera Patel; son, Zane Patel; parents, Chandravadan and Nila Patel; sister, Binisha Patel; nephew, Aahan, all of Ocala, and a host of friends across the world.
Funeral services and visitation will begin at 12 noon, Friday, December 7, 2012 in the chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida 34470.
