Ocala - Valerie passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, April 1, 2013.
She was born on June 27, 1963 in Orlando, FL to John Camden Fisher and Pamme Anderson Fisher. She has resided in Marion County since 1986 and recently retired as a Sheet Metal Mechanic for the Marion County School Board.
She was predeceased by grandfathers W. H. Anderson, Jr., Camden Fisher and her father, U.S. Army Major John C. Fisher. Valerie is survived by her loving husband, Boyce "Tuck" Rainey; mother, Pamme A. Davis of The Forest; stepfather Charles V. Davis of Maitland, FL; brothers USMC Ret. MSGT John C. "Boomer" Davis (Makiko) of Silver Springs Shores and children Chris and Austin; William D. "Bibo" Davis (Suzi) and children Dean and Tate of Oviedo, FL; stepbrothers Charles Davis, II; Raymond D. Davis (Karen) and children Ray and Ryan of Havelock, NC; Sister Juliet Davis Brown (Brian) and children Brian and Bobby of Oviedo, FL; stepsister Virginia Dawn Davis of Tampa, FL; grandmothers Jewel B. Taylor of Ocklawaha and Julia L. Fisher of Oviedo, FL; uncles William Anderson III of The Forest and children Shayne and Spring, ; Robert B. Anderson (Amy) and children Bobby and Bradley of Ocala, Richard H. Davis (Jeannie) and son Richard of Winter Park, FL; aunt Suzanne F. McCullough of Kexington, KY and daughter Lauren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Lovell officiating. Tuck would like everyone to wear plaid shirts and jeans. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Humane Society of Marion County in memory of Valerie's love of animals.
