EAST LAKE WEIR, FL - Donald Timothy McIntosh, D.M.D., loving husband and father, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Born November 15, 1953 in Charleston, SC, to Walter Theodore McIntosh and Ruby Milner McIntosh, Dr. McIntosh was a 1981 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine and served five years in the United States Naval Dental Corps. He was a 1988 graduate of the periodontal residency program at the University of Florida and a Board Certified member of the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. McIntosh was a periodontist in Ocala since 1988. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rebecca Duane McIntosh; beloved daughters, Layna McIntosh Halstead, Ocala; and Kayla McIntosh, E. Lake Weir; brother, Walter McIntosh, Jr., Murrells Inlet, SC; infant grandson, Thaddeus Halstead, Ocala; and niece Kim McIntosh Parker, Midland, NC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. with a praying of the rosary at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, October 3rd at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, FL. The Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 4th; with Father Pat Sheedy officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church to benefit the Uganda Medical Clinic or the Alpha Center for Women, Ocala, FL.
