Mark, you will forever be in our hearts. We miss your smile & your bigger than life personality. You would be so proud of your 4 kids & beautiful 5 grandkids. I know you are looking down on them & smiling.

I was shocked today when I googled Mark's name in an effort to find a current phone number so that I could see how he was doing. He and I were good friends as well as neighbors at MacDill AFB and were both Senior Master Sergeant's in the Security Forces. Mark was one of the hardest working Senior NCO's that I ever knew. His former wife and children seemed like the perfect family, very friendly, polite and easy going. Mark could fix just about anything and I still remember him driving that mini bike he fixed after buying it for Jeffrey (he looked ridiculous trying to balance himself on that thing, laughing during the entire ride). The Mark I knew had a big heart and a strong work ethic. He had an easy shot of promotion to Chief, but didn't want it. Miss the old days when we would share a "Miller Light" or two at his garage, where we complained about work and shared a few laughs You'll be missed my friend and may you rest in peace. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones.

I've just heard of Mark's passing. My prayers to all of those who loved him. Mark came into my home last September as a "handyman", there to install a light. He left a Friend! Over the next few months he was there to fix one thing or another (I had just purchased the home). But he was always so pleasant, kind, funny and more importantly, he considered me as a friend as well. How many "Handyman" invite their customers to their house for Christmas Holiday. I will miss you "Mr, Mark"
