Chudney Long Obituary
Ocala - Chudney Joy Long, 23, of Ocala, passed away on May 6, 2011, at Shands Hospital, University of Florida. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Paetyn Grace Butler; a God-daughter, Shonteanna Williams; father, Marlyn Long (Katrina); mother, Sylvia M. Davis (Stephen); sisters: Charney Hope, Chagoney Love, Chelby Faith; a God-sister, Tam McMillan; grandparents: Mary C. Woods, Austin and Dorothy Long, Betty Dempsey and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Celebration of Life for Princess Joy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Marion Oaks Assembly of God, 3977 S.W. 32nd Terrace Road, Ocala, Florida 34473, Pastor Alexis Freeman-Stephens presiding. Wake service will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 55 SW 3rd Avenue. Public visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Snow's Funeral Ministry, 5791 S.E. 23rd Lane, Arrangements have been entrusted to Snow's Funeral Ministry Providing a Memory that will never fade.

i'm free, i'm following the path god laid for me! i took is hand when i heard him call, i turned my back and left it all! i could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play, task left undone must stay that way. i found peace at the close of day. if my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered "joy"! a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah, these things i too will miss! be not burdened with times of sorrow, i wish you the sunshine of tomorrow! my life's been full, i've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch! perhaps my time seemed all to brief don't lengthen it now with undue grief! lift up your hearts and sing with me, "god wants me now, he set me free!"

Although we mourn at the fact she isnt here physically with us the memories we shared with her and everything we loved about her is always in our hearts! So although now it may seem hard we know God makes no mistakes and that we all trust in him to get us through these times...Ill be especially praying for immediate family to get through this and that each ache turns into the glory of God for the sake of Payten we have her and joys legacy and we can say she fulfilled her purpose in earth because regardless of what she endured she remain humbled and sweet and love everybody..I love her dearly and will miss her and our fetish we shared together winnie the pooh..Joy have fun with meghan and tell my dad Trevor Isaid hello and i love and miss him may God bless you and keep you through this time...see you sooner than later Joy ;-)

God saw a beautiful rose and decided he was ready for it. We are glad that we got a chance to spend time with Joy and the rest of the family just a few weeks ago. Who would have known that this moment would be upon us. To my sister/brother and her mom know that God is awesome and he is our strength and refuge. We must call on his precious name for strength and healing. We love you and our hearts and prayers are with our family.
