DAMIEN, CLINTON E.
Clinton E. Damien, 73, passed away on April 30, 2018 at his home in Ocala, Florida. A native of Norwich, CT, he moved to Ocala in 1992. Despite losing a leg at age 13, Clint worked as a machinist at Electric Boat division of General Dynamics building submarines. Clint was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Clint was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1199 and enjoyed playing pool as team Captain of the Over The Hill Gang.
He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie G. Damien.
Loving memories of Clint will remain in the hearts of his two sons, Dr. Curtis Damien of Drummonds, TN and Dr. Craig Damien of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, CW2 Cala Ratliff of Baltimore, MD, Christopher Damien of Memphis, TN, Caleb Damien of Ocala, FL, Craig Damien of Drummonds, TN, Cassie Damien of Ocala, FL, Austin Taube of Drummonds, TN, and C. Jake Damien of Ocala, FL; and four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Carlie, Griffin, and Luna.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a future date. In lieu of flowers family members request that you consider a donation to Hospice of Marion County http://hospiceofmarion.com or Marion County Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program at www.marionseniorservices.org These two organizations provided amazing services during our fathers last days.
