Belleview - David Dubeau, 86, of Belleview went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2014.
He was born October 20, 1927 to Eugene and Mary Welden Dubeau in Quebec, Canada. He was the youngest of four children. His family moved to Rutland, Vermont when he was very young. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1945 serving in Germany and France during World War ll and then again in Korea from 1950 to 1951.
David married Elizabeth May Patch in September of 1953. They worked together running a successful automobile business in the Rutland area. In January of 1978 they retired to sunny Florida but three years later his loving wife passed away. He enjoyed many things such as flying airplanes, taking college courses and taking care of his mother up until her death in 2002.
He is survived by his sister, Constance Gaynor; nephew, Raymond Gaynor; nieces, Diane Hudson and Kate Gaynor-Dickey; great nieces, Kimberley Hudson and Nicole Gaynor and great nephews, David Gaynor and Spencer Evans. Services will be held in the Spring at the Evergreen Cemetery in Pittsford, Vermont, where he will be laid to rest with his loving wife. Condolences may be sent to:
