Cousin Lois,
I am so disappointed that I won't be able to make it to Cousin Franks celebration of life. I have faithfully prayed for both of you since the last time I spoke with you last month, and I will continue to do so. I was so blessed to meet you all for the first time when my mom brought me to your beautiful home about 8 years ago. I thought to myself, "Now these are cousins I would love to hang out with everyday." You all were so cute and fun together! I could tell right away that you took your vows seriously and you were truly committed to one another, and loved each other so much - even after almost 50 years! You genuinely enjoyed each others company and were truly a match made in Heaven. Even in the short period of time that I knew you all, Cousin Frank left a lasting impression on my life. You will have so MANY great memories! Cousin Lois, I want you to know I am here for you and lifting your name to God everyday! I've been praying scriptures of joy and peace over you and your families life. These next few days, weeks and months may be challenging, but remember, God promised He would NEVER leave you or forsake you. He's got you covered and He is a VERY present help in the time of trouble. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I love you so much and look forward to seeing you in August when I come to see Mommy for her birthday.
With Much Love & Prayers
Always In His Service,
Your Favorite Cousin (:)

To Sis. Lilley, Kyowna, and the Lilley Family,
Words cannot express my saddness at the passing of Deacon Lilley. However there is a joy in my heart to know that although he is absent from this body, He is present with the Lord. Deacon Lilley was a soft spoken, kind-hearted man of God who shared his love of God with everyone he crossed paths with. I especially am grateful for his life and his legacy because it was Deacon Lilley who was very instrumental in steering me back on the right path many years ago when I had troubles come into my life.
Although he will be missed, know that Deacon Lilley has received his reward, and heard the words of our Lord that one day we all long to hear, " Well Done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant. "
May God Bless You And Keep You Is My Prayer.

Dear Lois....You and Frank have always been a source of pleasure and admiration in every way when I have been able to be with you in any activity, church and AAUW, socially or otherwise. You know we shared a joke about my loving Frank, and seriously I loved you both from the onset of our friendship. Perhaps these words seem trite and inappropriate at this time, but sincerely said: You both have been a Christian inspiration and a happy reminder that a smile is an act of kindness to anyone. God bless you as you continue without that wonderful sidekick and partner who kept those smiles on many faces around Ocala. I know he was a well-spoken man of God, and you, lovely lady, are a woman of God. I believe you were yoked together for a purpose. Now please continue all that you and he started!!!! Fondly, Marylyn

Mrs.Lilley and family, Mr.Lilley was a great man. Very loving, supportive ,and kind. He was a motivator as well. I remember walking one morning, my hands were freezing from the cold, so I placed them in my pocket. He said "mam you will never burn off calories like that you have to move those arms. Swing! Swing! Swing! " I responeded my hands are cold. He said ummm. Didn't you know it was cold before you left home? Lol. Yes Sir I did, but I did not have any gloves. Thats no excuse next time wear some socks. He smiled and waved. The next morning we both had socks on our hands. lol.One thing he said that stood out to me was "A GOOD SOLDIER ALWAYS COME PREPARED" .
God Bless

Deacon Lilley is the kind of person who always gives you a feeling of 'being glad to see him.' His jovial, fun-loving, animated character was always the same. We've missed him at Gtr. Hopewell; the walls, the activities, the 'atmosphere' of Gtr. Hopewell won't be the same because he's not there to greet us any longer.... But, I know that what our FATHER has decided - and with time - all is ok. Many continued blessings to Mrs. Lilley and Deacon Lilley's family.
