Ocala - Glenn Scoggins, 63, of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Kirbyville, died Monday, March 1, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
Born in Port Arthur and longtime resident of Kirbyville, he had lived in Ocala 13 years and was a retired warehouse manager. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Patti Scoggins of Ocala, FL; a step daughter, Nycol Thompson of Rome, GA; brothers, Jim (Frances) Scoggins of Kirbyville, John (Charlotte) Scoggins of Kirbyville, and Steve (Susan) Scoggins of Lindale; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the or to Davis Cemetery, c/o Tom Alston, P.O. Box 1396, Buna, TX 77612.
