Ft. McCoy - Jack DeStefano passed away on October 25, 2013.
Born in Mt. Kisco, New York, he moved to Ft. McCoy in 1984. A Veteran of the US Air Force, he retired as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service.
Preceded in death by his father, Salvatore Destafano, Jr., and grandson, Christopher Levay; he is survived by his wife, Darlene Destefano; daughters, Christina (Bobby) Levay, Amy (Ethan) Tittle; mother, Claire Destefano; brothers, William and Jimmy Destefano; sister, Jill Rodgers; grandchildren, Zachary (Kelsey) Levay, Ryan Levay, great-grandchild, Kylie Levay; and his dog "Bandit."
He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Ft. McCoy, VFW Post 10733, and the NALC.
Visitation Monday, October 28, 2013, from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, with services following at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Davita Ocala North Kidney Center, 2620 W. Hwy 316, Reddick, FL 32113 or First Baptist Church of Fort McCoy.
