Katherine Dowling Obituary
Ocala - Katherine "Nikki" Dowling, 15, of Ocala, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011, in Ocala. Born on February 6, 1996, daughter of Scott D. Dowling and Mary Katherine McGill-Dowling, she was a lifelong resident of Ocala. Besides her parents, Nikki is survived by twin sister, Krista Dowling, and her older sister, Lindsey McGill, both of Ocala; grandmother, Katherine McGill of Gainesville and grandmother Bertha Dowling of Sebring; her 2-year-old nephew, Ayden Hatten and his father, Anthony, of Ocala; and many very loved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nikki went before she or anyone else was ready and is incredibly missed. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala, followed by a memorial service in the TimberRidge Chapel at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
