Dunnellon - Kyle Eugene Altieri Lay, 17, of Dunnellon, FL went to be with his Lord from Ocala, FL on Friday, January 4, 2013.
He was born in Gainesville, FL on May 5, 1995 and was a lifelong resident of Marion County. Kyle was a Sophomore at Dunnellon High School where he had many friends who love and will miss him. He was a member of the R.O.T.C. and was aspiring to join the U.S. Army military police.
Kyle was of the Baptist faith. He loved hanging with his friends at the mudhole. He called himself "Redneck Country Boy" and always had his jeans tucked in his boots. Kyle also loved music and being on his cell phone. He will be forever missed by his loving family: mom and step-dad, Tanya S. Lay and David W. Stone; brother Demetri Wayne E. Lay; all of Dunnellon; granny Pat Jones of Ocala; pop pop Jerry Jones and grandma Janet of Miami; great-grandmother Nancy Jones of Miami; great-grandmother K. Bready of Ocala; and many aunts, uncles, cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 11th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in the TimberRidge Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala and a gathering to follow at the roadside memorial.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 12th at 1:00PM at Ocala West United Methodist Church, 9330 SW 105th Street. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala.
