LLOYD, MAX A., 88
Silver Springs - Max A. Lloyd, 88, of Silver Springs, passed away June 2, 2011 at Hospice's Sylvia House. Born in Sullivan, Indiana he came to this area 29 years ago from Terra Haute, Indiana. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, retired postal clerk and a member of Faith Baptist Church, Silver Springs. He enjoyed family and friends, playing guitar, woodworking, traveling and many other outdoor activities. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary E. Lloyd; daughter, Darian Cox and husband Martin of Amherst, NE; son, Michael Lloyd and wife Susan of Martinsville, IN; 5 grandchildren, Derena Danube, David Furnas, Kyleen Evans, Harry Lloyd and Evan Lloyd; 4 great-grandchildren, Hannah Leach, Hope Danube, Brennon Furnas and Bailey Furnas. Visitation will be held at Faith Baptist Church (327 N. Hwy 314-A, Silver Springs) at 10a.m.-11a.m. on Monday June 6, 2011. Funeral Service will follow at 11a.m. at the Church with Interment and Military Honors at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala. In lieu of Flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County P.O. Box 4860 Ocala, FL 34478. Arrangements by ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES, Bruce Chapel East (2739 SE Maricamp Rd. Ocala 732-9944).
