Belleview- Ola Wells Hacker was born on November 7, 1921, to Robert and Ada Wells in King Creek, Kentucky. She worked as a manager for Dairy Queen and as a cashier for Kroger in Flat Rock, Michigan. She and her husband, Cecil, retired to Ocala, Florida from New Boston, MI in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Samuel) Smith of Allen Park, MI, her son, Glenn (Janet) Hacker of West Branch, MI, grandchildren Stephen (Lori) Smith, Janelle (Ed) Smith-Bradshaw, Brian (Alissa) Hacker and Matthew Romanik; great-grandchildren, Brandi, Tasha, Anthony and Ola Mae: great-great-grandchildren, Briahna and Brendan; her sisters, Estelle Douglas and Margaret Atwood; her brother, Willis (Jean) Wells and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil, and her brother, John Wells. She was devoted to and proud of her family. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church of Belleview, FL and was very passionate about her faith. Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church of Belleview, 10835 SE 70th Avenue, at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Parlor Grove Cemetery, Waynesburg, Kentucky. Online condolences may be sent at www.hiers-baxley.com.

Ola was a very sweet lady. I remember her from McKenney Chiropractic. She was a spit-fire sometimes and I loved it! She will truly be missed!
