Summerfield - Paul Anthony Luciano, 75, of Summerfield, FL passed away on December 19, 2012.
He retired after 25 years as owner of Luciano's Band Instruments & Repair in Ocala. Born in Erie, PA, he moved to Ocala in 1979 from Fredonia, NY and then to Summerfield in 2005. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Summerfield, FL. He played in three bands that he ran: Paul Luciano Big Band, Paul Luciano Little Big Band, and Paul Luciano Combo, throughout The Villages Town Squares, Katie Belle's and Church on the Square. He was a member of Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band, Center Stage Band, The Original Log Cabin Dixieland Band. He also played with Warren Covington, Guy Lombardo, Julius LaRosa and Don Glaser.
Survivors are wife Rita, Summerfield, FL, daughters; Debra Luciano (Lance Lewis), Columbus, OH, Linda Orloff (Richard), Stockton, NY, Amy Hall (Sean), Silver Creek, NY and Annette Spearman (Rick), Freeville, NY, sons; Paul A. Luciano, Jr. (Kristina), Columbus, OH and Richard Luciano, Vernal, UT, brother Nicholas Luciano, Erie, PA and sister Donna Luciano, Erie, PA and ten grandchildren; Megan and Jessica Swan, Keenan and Lauren Lewis, Nathan Luciano, Melanie Luciano, Paul Luciano, III, and Sadie, Andrew and Benjamin Spearman.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 17330 US Hwy 441, Summerfield, FL on Wed. January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to: Trinity Lutheran Church, 17330 US Hwy 441, Summerfield, FL 34491.
