Paul, what can I say. I write this with an emptiness in my heart & tears in my eyes. You & your family were the 1st true friends I come to know when I arrived here in Jax. You took me from a Buckeye fan to a true Gator fan. I've missed you these past whatever years it's been. Always know I've thought about you & your family many many times. You "are" & "always" will be in my thoughts. I know I'll meet up with again someday. You've touched alot of lives & were always true to everyone I know that knew you. You keep your eye on your family like I know you will. I love you & will always miss you, just "one" of your dearest friends

Hey Paul I write this to the best neighbor that I ever had, to the man who taught me how to really cook venison,to the one guy I could never beat at horseshoes and who always had a great song playing. You were my friend, my advisor, my brother from another mother and the most fierce Gator fan I ever met.Thank you for taking me to my first Pro football game and for all the great times. You were always a committed free spirit which gave every person who was touched by your life a comfort. I love you forever and will miss you always. To all the surviving family,I send my deepest sympathies.

Paul I know that your in peace with my family Tracy, my dad, Leihan ,and Miickey as well as yours Art sr. and Mike as well as your grand parents and your many aunts and uncles and I know in life at times we were like fire and ice as many brothers are but I remember the many times we let each other know we also loved one another and were there for each other when needed. I hope you drew your last breath truely with the knowledge that your greatest purpose was the co creation of your fine son Alex and the devotion you allowed your loving wife to show you everyday for more than 25 years. Ill see you soon my brother if only GOD is merciful and willing .....Patrick

I was very saddened to learn of Paul's passing. It has been many years since I last saw Paul, but I'll always remember how fun and interesting the brother of one of my best friends always was. My deepest sympathies go out to Paul's wife and son, and to Art and his Mom, and all of his sisters and brothers.

NEENIE AND ALEX, I AM SORRY ABOUT UNCLE PAUL IT WAS TOO SHORT OF TIME HE HAD WITH US. BUT I KNOW THE LORD HAS TAKEN HIM AND HAS PUT HIM IN A PEACEFUL SPOT. I WISH I COULD GET DOWN THERE. I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU GUYS AND TELL EVERYONE I LOVE THEM AND GIVE EVRYBODY A BIG HUG FOR ME. When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.

Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.

Let's draw together to recuperate,
As we go throught this period of sorrow;
Let's help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow. TELL UNCLE PAUL THAT I SAID THE ORANGE AND BLUE WE TRIUMP OVER ALL AND TEAR DOWN THE SEC WALL. LOVE YOU ALL RANDY

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
