Robert Kreimer Obituary
Robert M. Kreimer, 73, of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Marion County. Born on June 23, 1937 in Washington, DC, son to the late Benton and Jean (Stuhler) Kreimer he moved here in 1996 from Kansas City, MO. Robert graduated from the University of Florida and later received his Master's Degree from the Naval Post Graduate School. He was a career veteran of the U.S. Navy, having achieved the rank of Captain and became the Commanding Officer of the Navy Regional Procurement Center, Washington, DC., retiring in 1987. He was a member of the American Legion. Robert was an antique glass dealer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years; Mary C. Kreimer, Ocala: sons Carl Douglas Kreimer (Joann) of Wadesboro, NC and John Benton Kreimer of Jacksonville, FL: sisters Bonita K. Williams (John) of Ocala and Diane Yearsley (Earle) of Artemas, PA; brother Joseph Kreimer (Kathy) of Union Bridge, MD; brother-in-law John Cameron of Crystal River: and 4 Grandchildren The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00AM in the TimberRidge Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala. The family will receive their friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM service time. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
