Ocala - Teofil (Terry) John Suski, 88, of Ocala, died Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Estelle's Hospice House. He was born on May 23, 1923 in Newark, NJ a son off the late Teofil Suski and the late Julia Slowinski Suski. Terry was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in both WWII and the Korean Wars and retired in 1973 from the Newark, NJ Police Force. He belonged to the FOP and the VFW. He was remembered for his love of the Yankees baseball team and spent many hours at his computer improving his knowledge of the world. Terry and his wife of 54 years Elaine Suski relocated to Florida from New Jersey in 1973. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Jean Competiello of Ocala, FL; a son, Steven John Suski of Chicago, IL; a grandson, Nicholas Ryan Competiello; two sisters: Mary Gorski of Ocala and Helen Skelly of Ocklawaha, FL. A visitation has been scheduled for Sunday May 15, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Pastor Warren Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County or St. John's Lutheran School scholarship fund, Ocala, Florida.
