Mr. Wallace 'Bud' Russell Novak, born on April 14, 1924 in Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away at age 94 on July 4, 2018 in Ocala, Florida. Bud was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy in World War II as a Tail Gunner in a B24 and also was a respected Barber by trade.
He was married to the late Claudean Novak and was preceded in death by his son, Mark Novak.
He is survived by his sons, Russell Novak and Moxie Novak; and daughters, Connie La Marche, Christine Thomas, Donna Bowser, and Jeanette Mann. He was also loved and admired by his 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would encourage donations to the Wounded Warrior Project. Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 14045 US-301, Citra, Florida, 32113 on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
