OATES, WILLIAM ERNEST, 82
Williston - William Ernest "BUDDY" Oates, retired truck driver for Whitehurst & Sons, 82, Williston. Mr. Oates was a faithful member of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Flemington. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, JUNE 18, 2011, 11 AM, Unity Temple of Deliverance International Center. Reverend Michael Maeweathers, Sr.-WORDS OF COMFORT- a wake service will be held on Thursday 6PM at Sellers Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends during this hour of reflection. Visitation will be at Sellers Funeral home on Friday from 9 TO 7PM. Family and friends are asked to meet at the residence of Mrs. Ola M. Hicks (114 S.E. 1Oth St. Williston, FL) on Sat. at 10:15 AM to form the funeral cortege. No viewing following eulogy. Survivors to cherish the memories of Mr. Oates who was preceded in death by his wife Viola Hicks Oates, two sons; Ernest Oates and Lamonica Oates (Quillamae) both of Williston, FL, four daughters; Gwendolyn O. Martin (Minister Carlton Martin) of Reddick, FL; Evelena Richards (Roderick) of Gainesville, FL; Beverly Oates (Eley) of Williston, FL; Theo Yvonne Oates (Ray) of Gainesville, FL; three sisters; Evelyn James of Hawthome, FL; Eamestine Boone of Ocala, FL; Geraldine Oates of Flemington, FL; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
