Bette -- how I wish there had been more opportunities for (brother) Wes and me to go to FL for family gatherings, and yet I hold such a fond memory of meeting Willie for the first time at Christmas '94 (or '95). We stood in the doorway of Dad's home, engrossed in a deep conversation about significant milestones in military history-- a memorable first impression. You're in our prayers.

I know God had a plan for Willie while he was with us...we each have our lives laid out before us..we maynot understand the route we take in this life but there is a reason..and God knows what it is.
Willie touched many a life here on this earth...while in his younger days and then in NAVY (you have to love the men in white!!) and then when he went on to do other jobs before his retirement. One never knows how many lives they touch and Willie touched MANY...May God bring you peace and comfort as you work thru your loss.... We are here for you if you need to talk...you know how to reach myself and ALL of your friends here on Facebook...WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.... sending love & hugs your way.. Laurie
