Ocala - Louis Wilson Addison Jr., 65, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, at Munroe Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born and reared in Ocala, the son of the late Louis and Illinois Addison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine, and his sister, Margaret Addison Burton. He returned to Ocala after retiring from a career in pharmacy with Walgreen's in Chicago. He was a graduate of Howard High school, class of 1964 and Florida A&M University School of Pharmacy. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He is survived by cousins: Archie (Clarence) Ferguson, Beatrice Brown, Thelma Johnson and Shirley (Henry) Pinkney; step children: Debra, Latricia, Lawrence, Marcia and Ronald of Chicago; two step grand-daughters; special friends and caregivers: David (Sylvia) Thomas, Joan Armon and Randolph Gillum; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing at Brown's Funeral Home Chapel, 706 SW Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., Ocala, Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., and Sunday May 13, from 2 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Funeral services at Zion United Methodist Church on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11 a.m., pastor Rev.
