Betty Perlmutter Obituary
Dunnellon - Betty L. Perlmutter, age 66 of Dunnellon, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at her residence. Betty was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on May 26, 1943 to the late Marion & Ruby Lee Hill and moved here in 1990 from Margate, Florida. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon. She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Perlmutter, her son, Thomas Kolakowski of Dunnellon, her daughter, Rebecca Lee and her husband, Dean Hawthorne of Morriston, FL, two brothers, Frank Wayne and his wife, Holly Hill of Biloxi, Mississippi and Marion Lawrence and his wife, Sandra Hill of VanCleve, Mississippi, seven grandchildren including Jessica Lynn Avila and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Goike. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from the First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon with Rev. Eddie Fulford officiating- There will be no viewing hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.

My Aunt Betty is a blessing from above..She loved all her Nieces and Nephews and will be missed with great sorrow here in Long Island, New York. We know that she is at peace and that her dughter Tammy and brother -in law Jean Guy has offered their arms to embrace her in Heaven..She was a SAINT on earth and is now a Guardian Angel in Heaven..Love her Niece Lisa

"Betty, we didn't want to say good-bye to you yet and we will sorely miss you!" Betty was preceded in death by her mother-in-law (Frances) and sisters-in-law Irlyne (my mother) and Gloria (my aunt). I know I would speak for them as well when I say Betty was truly a loving and selfless person. She was kind and giving to her husband Stanley's family and we very much appreciated her warmth and concern. Her memory will always be for a blessing.
