Homosassa Springs, FL., - Ernest T ( Pete) Peterson Jr., 81, of Homosassa Springs, FL,., passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010. Born November 23, 1928 in Norwalk, CN. He moved to Silver Springs in 1948 where he founded Pete Peterson Signs. His real passion was the rodeo world as a professional rodeo clown and bullfighter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all spending time with Mary (the love of his life). Pete was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Mary and his parents Merlyn and Ernest T. Peterson Sr. Survivors include daughters; Candace Martin (Ted Gui), Bonnie Belle Carter (Paul) and sons Pete R. Peterson (Mary) all from the Ocala area, Ed Weiss (Pam) of Anaheim, CA., and close friend Wally Martin of Silver Springs; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of friends, cowboys and clowns around the world. A celebration of life will be held June 12th, 6pm at the Ocala Shrine Club on Maricamp Rd. In lieu of flowers donation to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated. May you enjoy fighting those bulls again and making everyone laugh but most of all dancing with Mom again. Love you Mom and Dad. Good Ride Cowboy - Good Ride.
