CANNON, SHARLENE (SHAR), 57
Ocklawaha - Sharlene (Shar) Cannon, age 57, of Ocklawaha, FL, quietly passed away from lung cancer on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Her parents, Bernard M. Cannon and Ann Powell Cannon, preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Annette Cannon, Fountain City, IN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and John Lord, Spring Grove, IL and Abby and John Saccomanno, Suwanee, GA; nieces and nephews, Ann and Brian Jensen, Spring Grove, IL and Crystal and Brent O'Shields, Cumming, GA; nephews and nieces, John Lord, Spring Grove, IL and Michael Saccomanno, Duluth, GA; great nieces, Kristen Lord, Bailey Jensen and Camdyn O'Shields; great nephews, Kevin Jensen, Braden O'Shields and Nolan O'Shields. Sharlene Cannon was born March 23, 1954 in Chicago, IL and grew up in Roselle, IL. She graduated from Lake Park High School. As an adult, Shar moved to Ocklawaha, FL and was employed at the Forest Center Winn-Dixie for eighteen years. Shar resided in Ocklawaha until her illness advanced and then she spent the last five months of her life living in Suwanee, GA with her sister and brother-in-law, Abby and John Saccomanno. Shar loved the time she spent in Wisconsin fishing and target shooting, and she also loved the ocean. Shar was patient, understanding and very kindhearted. She was always thinking of others before herself. There will be no services in Georgia. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Sharlene to the , 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA 30097.
