Ocala - Juanita Cogdell-Taylor, 72, retired Food Services Worker at College Park Elementary School, passed away on March 29, 2013.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Major Joe Taylor; children, Clorinell Connie Gogdell (Ocala), Jeffrey Paxton (Jonesboro, Georgia), Shatoya Dozier (Ocala), Patricia Green (Waldorf, Maryland), Karim Paxton (Tallahassee); fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Reaves (Rochester, New York), Hattie Bell Hilbert (Ocala); two brothers, George Gogdell (Rochester, New York) and Curtis Godgell (Ocala).
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cogdell-Taylor will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Pentecostal Full Gospel Worship Center, Hwy 441 Ocala, FL; Pastor Millard Rucker, Eulogist. Viewing will be after the eulogy. The family will meet at 955 S.W. 119th Ave., Cotton Plant, to form the funeral cortege. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Brown Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC 706 SW Martin Luther King Ave., Ocala, FL (352) 840-0611.
