Ocala - William O. "Bill" Lundberg, 81, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Ocala.
He was born on October 7, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Ocala from Tennessee in 2007; after having lived in several other areas of the country. Bill was a Air Force veteran, retiring in 1972 as a Major after serving 25 years. He then took a position with the City of Ocala as an electrical engineer and worked 13 years, retiring in 1993. Bill served many years with the V.F.W. Angela Santos Post#4781 Honor Guard as a rifleman. He was an avid reader and golfer. Along with Betty they loved traveling and cruising.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth "Betty" Lundberg of Ocala; children George, Gloria; stepchildren Anne, Susan and David and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County. Services with full military honors conducted by the Angela-Santos V.F.W. Post#4781 Honor Guard will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:30 PM. Condolences may be expressed at:
