JD quietly passed away at his home on February 3rd, 2014 at the age of 74.
JD was an Air Force veteran and enjoyed many successful careers from small business owner to president of Mark III Industries. He loved his family and friends and he loved to laugh. He played golf and he loved sports, especially football which led to many moon pie wages with his grandsons. He will be remembered as a hard worker, a man that cared for his wife and children and particularly his kind heart and generous spirit. Most importantly, he had a deep love for his Lord.
JD was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Donald Fowler. He was survived by his wife of 33 years Peggy Dority who loved and cared for him to the very end; his brother Charles Dorrity (Joy); his children Kelly Juarez (Jose), Gerri Brown, Jodie Jones, Gene Fogle (Penny) and Robbie Dority; and his nine adoring grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday February 8th at 2PM at Christ the King Anglican Church, 3850 W Anthony Rd, Ocala by Rev. Donald Curran. Reception to follow at the home of his daughter.
