John "Jack" Woodville Lillard of Oak Run, quietly passed away on February 1, 2014.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 61 years, Nancy; daughter Jackie Allen; daughter Joyce Darmiento and son-in-law Robert; son Richard and daughter-in-law Julie; son Thomas and daughter-in-law Martha. He also leaves ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Audrey Goodleaf.
Jack was a Korean War veteran, Past Exalted Ruler of Huntington, New York Elks Lodge # 1565, and past District Director of Babe Ruth Baseball. In retirement, he volunteered at Munroe Regional Medical Center, he was a member of the Oak Run Veterans club, NY club, the Bocce club, Country Western dance club, and a member and past Chairman of Oak Run Travel.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Church of the Advent, RT 484 in Dunnellon. Donations in Jack's memory can be made to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34474.
